EnergyUnited, North Carolina’s largest electric cooperative seeks Applications Programmer. Primary role of this position is to develop, test & implement web based software solutions that would aid processes for both internal and external end-users. Additionally will work with analyst to understand and develop business requirements. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent. 5 years exp in IT. Working knowledge of website development technologies including HTML/XHTML; Javascript; CSS; classic ASP/VBScript; C# .Net; IIS and Apache web servers; must have experience with Oracle databases. Working knowledge of business applications including Customer Information Systems, Outage Management Systems, GIS Systems, IVR Systems, Internet applications. Must be on-site during system enhancements or replacements in order to ensure a smooth integration of new equipment into an existing environment.
